EF Block Mexico owns rights to the newest EF Block manufacturing machines. This allows us to manufacture blocks locally in Baja California Sur, passing the lower shipping costs to future Baja home owners.
The Process of Creating and Using EF Block
1) Stack the Block
2) Rebar the Block
3) Concrete the Block
The EF Block process transforms standard recycled polystyrene into durable highly insulated blocks. Above all, these blocks are fire, earthquake, hurricane, and tornado resistant, ready to be shaped and stacked into any design.
As builders stack EF Block during construction, steel rods (rebar) are inserted grid-wise throughout the cores of the block.
These block cores are then filled with concrete without the need for mortared seams.
The final result is a custom-designed construction built with high insulation.
Once EF Block is constructed, various fascias or stucco can be applied directly to the block, customizing the appearance of the finished walls. This eliminates the need for thermal wrap, tar paper, and wire mesh applications. Construction times are significantly reduced.
Above all, EF Block technology eliminates the need for costly insulation applications. The Block is the only insulation needed.
